Comment on I have an serious illness of migraine headaches,i had sensitivity to lights & sounds and my doctor written a note for homebound school but the school refuses to help me. They say i either go to school and earn a diploma & graduate or i drop out and become a bum to society & have no health insurance. I’m so frustrated, no one understands how i feel. What can i do so i can still earn my high school diploma ?? i’m in an work - based learning program. My doctors are treating my migraine but all the medications they are giving doesn’t seem to help at all. Can anyone please give me advice on what to do?? I want to earn my diploma but i can’t attend school. School people are not helping me out all and i can’t afford to pay an attorney. by dares2cares

Ik weet dat deze hoofdpijnen u werkelijk kwetsen. Ik zou adviseren dat u ziet een chiropracticus gaat. Vele patiënten (tussen 60-80%) van migraines kunnen door het hebben van chiropraktijkzorg worden geholpen. Meestal zal het helpen een reeds lopende migraine verlichten. Vele patiënten weten wanneer hun migraine vordert. Als zij naar de chiropracticus gaan, bereiken velen ooit geen migrainestatus.

Well what i do when i have a cold i go to the GYM and go sit in the steam room for like 40 mins and when i come out i feel great cause it sweats it out, i know some one on hear will say its stupid but trust me i do it and it always works for me just bring a bottle of water in there.
Also take some dayquil that stuff always works.

Home school is legal in all states and the school is just saying that because for every kid that does not attend they lose government money and they are already losing too much so they like to use scare tactics to try to get people to send their kids back to school.

I suggest doing a little unschooling until you can get your health under control. I think your health needs to be the biggest issue here. You have the rest of your life to learn and there should be no problem catching up once you are feeling better.

No one can do anything with a migraine. Those school officials are jerks. Please don’t listen to anything they have to say. If you do need some legal help that is pretty cheap you can sign up for the hslda.com. They are The Home school legal Defense Association and they will represent you if the school is to cause any major problems for you.

I think this is awful and I am so sorry you are going thru this. If you were my kid I would be taking you to every specialist out there until they found something that helped ease these up and even help you with your diet and stress to make it a good environment conducive to learning.

I just hope and pray you get well soon.

For every drink you drink it out of your system but truly the more caffeine.

I switched to forever living aloe activator which i drip directly into my nostrils whenever i feel my sinus acting up or starting to be infected. Although it would seldom be seriously infected the last 2 years since i used the aloe activator, the pressure around my eyeballs gives me headaches. I am 54 yrs old, i don’t smoke, i am physically fit thru jogging, working out and careful food intake. What should i do to to prevent my sinuses from being infected? is there a way to strengthen my body to be able to resist infection? To clean out the sinuses and guard against infection up there, put 2 teaspoons of salt into half a glass of salt water and inhale by teaspoons into the nostrils. Also is it ok to be on a low 20mg dosage of a beta blocker (blood pressure med)? Im on it now to help block migraines.
